Ignite Sport > Adult Education > Active Wellbeing (Online Programme)

Its no secret that by participating in physical activity we can keep our body fit and healthy but how about the mind? In this course we explore the facts around the improvement of mental health with physical activity and how this can help those who live with depression, anxiety and lack motivation.  The course will educate learners on how to help improve wellbeing via exercise, activities and how factors such as diet, the outdoors and endorphins play their part.

Our Active Wellbeing short course is a great launchpad to all things health-related; the course will enable you to lead sessions in activities to aid a healthy lifestyle and general wellbeing for you and/or others.

Perfect for those with a keen interest in health and wellbeing or those working with individuals or groups, whether in the community, organised classes, youth centres, elderly care homes, activity centres, activities with friends and family... the list goes on!

Whether you are a professional in your field or a beginner, this course will benefit your journey.

Places are open to adults (aged 19+) who would like to self-develop via workshops and online learning.
