Alternative Provision Learning Hub gets a major facelift, thanks to Aston and James!

An alternative provision learning hub used by apprentices and students at Ignite Sport and Velocity Football had received a significant facelift, thanks to Witney-based Aston and James.

The office supplies and workplace solutions experts have kitted out the space with the latest classroom furniture as part of the company’s commitment to supporting education in the community.

It means students studying alternative provision programmes onsite at the RAW Charging Stadium can now access their own dedicated space for education and social purposes.

Justin Merritt, CEO of Ignite Sport, said he was thankful to Aston and James for their support in improving the learning experiences of students and apprentices.

“Delivering a well-rounded educational experience to all learners is really key,” said Justin. “Often, that means tailoring education, activities, and environments so we can meet the needs of individuals and allow them to fulfil their true potential.

“Aston and James’ generous donation of furniture means we have been able to do just that by creating a space dedicated to the academic, professional, and social development of our alternative provision students.

“Our alternative provision programmes help students to achieve educational and social attainment in an inspiring an active environment outside a traditional school setting.

“We’d like to thank Aston and James for their support – it really will help to make a difference.”

Darren Aston, Managing Director at Aston and James, added: “Ignite Sport and Velocity Football go the extra mile in supporting students of all abilities and requirements to aspire towards a fantastic future.

“Their hands-on approach and acceptance of every student having their own story are what makes their work so important.

“We’re really pleased to deliver this small gesture and help Justin and his team work towards making careers in the sports sector open and accessible to all.”
