Never has it been more important for us to look after our health; exercise and active living can help towards immunity.
Our Active Living for Health short course is a great launchpad to all things health-related; the course will enable you to lead sessions in activities to aid a healthy lifestyle and help improve immunity in doing so.
Perfect for those with a passion for maintaining or improving their own health and that of their household and for individuals who when able to again, are striving to lead group activities.
We are pleased to offer this course for Oxford Brookes students in partnership with OCFC and Activate Learning. The course is designed to encourage activity leaders to recognise health benefits, and structure engaging and challenging sessions, whilst developing simple transferable skills.
Learners undertaking this award will develop their knowledge and confidence in participating in and delivering physical activity sessions. All learners will also receive online resources and a delivery tool kit to enhance ideas and delivery performance.
Whilst we all observe social distancing, the course will be delivered via an initial webinar workshop followed by portfolio building, task completion, and projects. Completion of the course will be by way of submitting a video of you delivering a session to members of your household, or a recording of you delivering to friends on an online platform.
