Never has it been more important for us to look after our health; exercise and healthy living can help towards immunity.
Our Active Living for Health short course is an enjoyable and informative programme about all things health-related; the course will enable you to increase your knowledge base and lead sessions in activities to aid a healthy lifestyle and help improve immunity in doing so.
Those with no formal qualifications but with a passion for maintaining or improving their own health and that of others.
Qualified sport and fitness instructors who lead individual and group fitness and health activities.
Those are working towards a qualification in fitness/sport.
Places are open to adults (aged 19+) who would like to upskill and undertake personal development. The Active Living for Health programme is delivered across online workshops and an end assessment.
We are pleased to offer this healthy living course in partnership with Activate Learning. The course is designed to encourage activity leaders to recognise health benefits, and structure engaging and challenging sessions, whilst developing simple transferable skills.
Learners undertaking this award will develop their knowledge and confidence in participating in and delivering physical activity sessions. All learners will also receive online resources and a delivery tool kit to enhance ideas and delivery performance.
Level 2 Certificate in Leading Health-Related Activity Sessions

Unit 1: Promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity
Unit 2: Planning an activity session
Unit 3: Delivering an activity session
